Well boys I've got to take a minute Tell you how I knew that I was in it Soon as I saw her there was no denying It was all a blur, she wasn't even trying And then she walked up, hips a swing-a-linging And she downed two shots then asked what I was drinking And she drank that too, then she pulled me closer And before I knew we were walking over To my shined up Honda Accord She said "Hell No" and led me to her Chevy four by four and said Don't you want to climb on in, I'll move a little closer Crank my engine and listen to it sputter Before it starts to purr just like a kitten No there ain't no words to tell you about the feeling When you pump that clutch and get my tires spinning And you've got that touch to get me where I'm thinking We should end this night with any luck And then she said Don't you want a truck Don't you want a truck Well boys I shouldn't have to tell you That when she said that I almost fell-a down On both knees, I didn't know what hit me But I said yes please, I couldn't wait to see What the girl had planned for us that night And she had me wrapped before I put her truck in drive when she said Don't you want to climb on in, I'll move a little closer Crank my engine and listen to it sputter Before it starts to purr just like a kitten No there ain't no words to tell you about the feeling When you pump that clutch and get my tires spinning And you've got that touch to get me where I'm thinking We should end this night with any luck And then she said Don't you want a truck Don't you want a truck Well boys what happened after that, well it's just for her and me But take my word my world was turned when she handed me that key And said Don't you want to climb on up and feel my gears shifting You won't get it stuck as long as you keep pushing down On that gas, tonight there ain't no braking We can get there fast, boy there's no mistaking When you pump that clutch and get my tires spinning And you've got that touch to get me where I'm thinking We should spend this night with any luck Just turn that key, boy, and fire it up And then she said Don't you want a truck Don't you want a truck

You like to dance, like to laugh, like to tip back a cold beer or two I thought trying to impress you was the logical thing to do But then you kicked my butt at pool and looked up and you shot me a wink My jaw hit the floor I didn't even need a second to think Cause I knew loving you was all I'd have to do I could tell there was no other way I couldn't live without you, wouldn't want to if I had to And to prove it this is what I can say If I was rich like Ryan Reynolds, that handsome little devil And could buy anything in sight If I had muscles like Dwayne Johnson and girls asked to leave the lights on While we were making love all through the night Even if I could shake like Justin Timberlake Or I could sing like Luke and Blake do Being rich like Ryan Reynolds wouldn't be as good as loving you Honey when we're out together all those other guys, they can't help but stare The way you fill them jeans out leaves them all gasping for air Or when we stay at home and we get to snuggling up on the couch The way we fit together I could never find a reason to doubt That I'd take all my days spent with your loving ways There ain't nowhere else that I'd rather be I love those sugar kisses, I'm your mister you're my missus And I think by now you're starting to see If I was rich like Ryan Reynolds, that handsome little devil And could buy anything in sight If I had muscles like Dwayne Johnson and girls asked to leave the lights on While we were making love all through the night Even if I could shake like Justin Timberlake Or I could sing like Luke and Blake do Being rich like Ryan Reynolds wouldn't be as good as loving you Girl your love fits like a glove, I just can't get enough And while I know I ain't no Bill Shakespeare You're a drive out in the country, you're sophisticated funny You're so confident and cool, and girl you got that body too You know your hair smells like vanilla, you get frisky on tequila But just in case it's still not clear If I was rich like Ryan Reynolds, that handsome little devil And could buy anything in sight If I had muscles like Dwayne Johnson and girls asked to leave the lights on While we were making love all through the night Even if I could shake like Justin Timberlake Or I could sing like Luke and Blake do Being rich like Ryan Reynolds wouldn't be as good as loving you Being rich like Ryan Reynolds wouldn't be as good as loving you!

The moment I laid eyes on you I knew you felt a spark I felt it too, I was so into you The second time we met we couldn't pull our lips apart That's when I knew that I was completely screwed But you were not ready so you let me hit your wall I keep trying to get over it but I just lose my grip and fall And I know how you feel when I look in your eyes I know what you'll think when your hand's in mine I know what you'll say when I touch your face and take your breath away You'll look at me and you'll walk the other way I called you my pretty girl and I loved when you called me babe Even something so small that made me trip and fall You kept saying if I pushed too hard that I'd push you right away I didn't listen at all and now I've dropped the ball But if I could just slow this down would you lay with me tonight Let's give each other butterflies and let's give this fire a light Cause I know how you feel when I look in your eyes I know what you'll think when your hand's in mine I know what you'll say when I touch your face and take your breath away Look at me and you'll walk the other way I want to get to know you nice and slow So put your arms around me and let's see where this thing goes I know how you feel when I look in your eyes And I know what you'll think when your hand's in mine And I know what you'll say when I touch your face and take your breath away And I know what you'll hear when your head's on my chest And I know how you'll move when I kiss your neck And I know what you'll do if I say to you do you wanna stay You'll get right up and you'll walk the other way You'll get right up and you'll walk the other way You'll walk the other way

When I woke up in the morning I was already late for work I only got one sip of coffee and the rest poured down my shirt Man I was strugglin', but I was still hustlin' to go make that pay And I thought I had it figured, I'd erased most of my doubt Until I walked up to my car to find the air was all let out Of my front tire, like life conspired, to ruin this day Well I knew where this was headed And the only thing that I could think to say, was hey I need a shot of Jack Daniels and a Marlboro smoke I need a big screen TV and a damn fine joke A Red-headed, long-legged girl on my knee Who tells me that she wants to do whatever I please You know I don't need no doctor with no fine antidote I need a shot of Jack Daniels and a Marlboro Smoke Well I tried to shake it off me, tried to turn this mess around But then my phone it got to buzzin' I could tell just by the sound It was my baby, said I was lazy, and she'd packed up her things Well I tried the voice of reason and I begged her not to go But before I even finished I could hear that dial tone That meant she'd hung up, man don't that sum up what this day will bring Ain't no use in tryin' to fight it It was over 'fore I stepped into the ring, so I'll just sing I need a shot of Jack Daniels and a Marlboro smoke I need a big screen TV and a damn fine joke A Red-headed, long-legged girl on my knee Who tells me that she wants to do whatever I please You know I don't need no doctor with no fine antidote I need a shot of Jack Daniels and a Marlboro Smoke Well as soon as I got up I should've climbed back into bed I should've known right from the start that I was in over my head Ain't gonna start a cussin' or a pullin' out my hair I'm gonna ride it out till I can get me somewhere To get a shot of Jack Daniels and a Marlboro smoke With a big screen TV and a damn fine joke A Red-headed, long-legged girl on my knee Who tells me that she wants to do whatever I please You know I don't need no doctor with no fine antidote I need a shot of Jack Daniels and a Marlboro Smoke I need a shot of Jack Daniels and a Marlboro Smoke Give me a shot of Jack Daniels and a Marlboro Smoke

When I was a younger buck, I didn't give a flying you-know-what About how much money I'd have when I got old Dollars weren't something that I saved I didn't give a damn about a rainy day I had a good time reputation to uphold But now I ain't got no money for cocaine This diversified portfolio is what now clouds up my brain And all this damn responsibility is why I complain Cause I ain't got no money for cocaine Now I'm not saying that you should go And blow all your money up your nose Cause South Park taught us all that drugs were bad But I'd like to have some options on the table And have enough money so I could be able To make any choice I want when there's fun to be had But now I ain't got no money for cocaine And these Miller Lights that I'm sipping on they don't hit me quite the same And the only lines that I'm doing now are at the Starbucks just to pay And I ain't got no money for cocaine I ain't got no money for cocaine There ain't much fun for me to have at this low level of fame But a record that goes gold might get me right back in the game I ain't got no money for Maybe if you buy this song a few times more I might get some money for cocaine

Never Know 04:46
Sometimes when I'm lying here giving these tired eyes a rest I find myself drifting off somewhere to a place that's just like this Except you are there, sitting in a chair Watching cartoons on TV And in this scene I ain't ever dreamed if you're a boy or you're a girl The only thing that I can tell for sure is that you are my whole world But then I wake up, and my body's stuck And it seemed so real to me We never had the chance to meet, I couldn't look you in the eye And tell you all the useful things that I'd picked up in my life And days look so much different now than they did that long ago But I guess that's just the way it sometimes goes And that's just another thing you'll never know Years went past and your mom and me we stopped seeing eye to eye And when she left you know it took a breath for me to see to the other side I guess we lost our way, it couldn't be the same After all that we went through And blame ain't got no part in this, it just wasn't meant to be At times I can't help wondering where we all would be If you were born and we brought you home To be a family Would you lay right down beside me on the couch the way I did To watch a movie with my old man the way I did when I was a kid Would you be so shy that your head hung low wherever you would go Or would you try to be the star of every show That's just another thing we'll never know I never got to say hello, but then I never said goodbye I just kept going on with life, I didn't take the time to cry I thought being strong meant not letting on That it broke my heart in two Truth be told it took till now for me to find the words to say To let you know that you left a hole on the day you went away So I'll say it here, and I'll shed my tears In memory of you I wrote this song to say that you still come up in my mind Even though I tried to keep my stride and to leave that day behind I'm the dad you'll never have but I won't ever let you go And I hope somehow you know I love you so But that's just another thing I'll never know
